Android X Brand New School
During my time as the full-time 2D Animation Lead at Brand New School’s Los Angeles office, I had the opportunity to direct a stacked team of animators on a series of films for Android, announcing new features of their mobile operating system.
The project spanned six videos and involved close collaboration with story artists, producers, animators, and designers across multiple time zones. I was responsible for team direction, animation oversight, and final delivery of each film.
I led daily reviews each morning, giving feedback on shots and assigning new work. In the evenings, I recorded detailed direction for team members based in Europe.

I owned the master timelines for all six films, exporting full cuts for daily reviews so the team could see each piece in context. Watching everything together helped align individual shots with the overall rhythm and flow.
Draw Overs
To communicate timing on specific shots, I did quick draw-overs on top of the boardomatic. It was a scrappy but effective way to give clear direction across tools. Whether someone was working in 2D or 3D, the intent always came through.
